1984 Sarajevo Olympic Pins
The 1984 Winter Olympics were held in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia, from February 8 to 19, 1984. Far fewer pins were made for the Winter Games than for the Los Angeles Summer Games that followed that August, so Sarajevo pins are a smaller and more specialized corner of Olympic pin collecting. Broadcasters were among the busiest participants: the Games had a Main Press Centre at Skenderija and a broadcast center run by the Yugoslav broadcaster JRT, with ABC, the BBC and NHK all working there, and ABC issued its own Sarajevo 1984 pin.
